OCTOBER 29TH: JAZZ/LYRICAL WORKSHOP WITH KIYA - Ages 4 - 16
These workshops will be jazz and lyrical focused. Ages 4-16 will have an hour and a half of both jazz and lyrical.
For those who are new to lyrical, lyrical is a mix of both jazz and ballet. It follows more of a story line and aims to tell that story throughout the dance.
Jazz is more energetic and sassy, and allows dancers to express their sassiness on stage. It does not follow a story and is more about the quick moves and crisp lines.
Both are very fun styles to learn and have many overlapping steps! During the workshop you will be taught a short combination to music that you will perform in groups during class!
REGISTRATION: Limited Capacity of 15 - $10 per student per workshop
JAZZ: 1PM - 2:30PM
LYRICAL: 2:30PM - 4PM
